Growing up I attended our neighborhood Catholic Church. The church was beautiful; it was built from white bricks and surrounded with lush greenery. Every Sunday morning we walked there from our house. We had a big family so it was quite a procession.
What I loved most about the Sunday school room was that it was furnished with several stained glass lamps. The church had been built in the 1800s, so the lighting system was totally outdated. But I loved that about it. The stained glass lamps really created a special ambiance.
